Back at home in France we fitted in a last minute expedition to  see the tidal bore at the Mont Saint Michel (incoming tidal wave - theoritically involving white horses, crashing waves, dramatic sound effects - but this one was pretty much like a splash in a bath).

It becomes fairly obvious, when you're standing teetering on a bare rock in freezing cold wind, why wool coats were abandoned for plastic & man-made fabrics.

Wearing vintage coat & jumper, levi jeans.
