In April, I mentioned the Festival d'Hyères and two of its finalists.
This weekend the Grand Prix was awarded to Léa Peckre for "Cimiteries are fields of flowers". This intriguing phrase titles a collection which uses the image of a nun as basis, but reworks the somewhat austere religious theme.

The end result, in its use of pale & black sheers juxtaposed with very distinctive structures, is what I imagine Givenchy meeting Alexander McQueen would look like.
If this strong debut is anything to go by, I'd say she's one to look out for in the future.
